Key Difference 👉 face vs. confront
☆ face v. 面對:
have to deal with a particular situation, especially a difficult one.
e.g. He is faced with a difficult situation. 他正面臨著一個困境
☆ confront v. 面對:
( con = com- (together)) ( front = forehead )
deal with a problem or difficult situation, especially one that you need to stop avoiding.
e.g. She knew that she had to confront her fears. 她知道她必須勇敢的面對恐懼
面臨困境時，該使用face 還 confront？
📍face: You have no choice but to deal with it. 你別無選擇但也只能處理 (一種無奈的港覺ˊ_>ˋ）
📍confront: actively to deal with it, rather than trying to ignore it 面臨困境時積極處理，而不是試著忽略
